Role Objective
Manage and execute Diesel Generator (DG) installation projects, focusing on mechanical aspects of site execution, commissioning, and client coordination. Ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and smooth integration of DG systems into turnkey solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation and commissioning of DG sets and allied mechanical systems.
- Review mechanical drawings, site layouts, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with design, electrical, and quality teams for seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, site protocols, and client requirements.
- Manage manpower allocation, material handling, and daily site activities.
- Provide technical support during execution and resolve site-level challenges.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in troubleshooting and post-installation support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong background in mechanical engineering with exposure to DG projects.
- Hands-on site supervision and project execution experience.
- Ability to manage manpower, drawings, and client interactions independently.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance practices.
Required Skills
- DG project execution & supervision
- Mechanical systems knowledge (DG installation, exhaust, cooling, fuel systems)
- CAD/technical drawing interpretation
- Site coordination & stakeholder management
- Strong communication and reporting skills
Experience
3–4 years in mechanical project execution, preferably in DG sets or power projects.
Education
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
